1. Information of Export Inspection Council/Export Inspection Agencies' under section 4 (1) (b) of the right to information Act 2005-2018.
In order to promote openness, transparency and accountability in the working of public authorities, Government of India has enacted the Right to Information Act, 2005. For effective operationalization of the mandatory provisions of the Right to Information Act in Export Inspection Council and its Agencies, required information is as below:
1 Organization, Functions and Duties
2 Powers & Duties of its officers and employees 4 (1) b ii.
3 Procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accessibility.
4 Norms set by it for the discharge of its functions.

5 Rules, regulations, instructions, manuals, records held by EIC under its control and used by its employees for discharging its functions.
6 Statement of the categories of documents that are held by it or under its control.
7 Particulars for any arrangement for consultation with, or representation by, the members of the public in relation to the formulation of the policy or implementation thereof (section 4 (1) b (vii).
8 Statements of Boards, Councils, Committees and other bodies consisting of two or more persons constituted as its part or for the purpose of its advice, and as to whether meetings of those Boards, Councils, Committees and other bodies are open to the public or the minutes of such meetings are accessible for public.
